Preparation of the micro-size flake silver powders by using a micro-jet reactor

Abstract The micro-size flake silver powders were prepared through wet-chemical reduction method by using a micro-jet reactor. Herein ascorbic acid was used as reducing agent, and sulfuric stabilizer. And the lauric dispersing agent to prevent particles’ agglomeration. reactor collides two solutions together uniformly mixes outside reactor, avoid problem of clogging in microchannel. effects dispersant addition flow rate on morphology, particle size, other parameters powder is investigated present work. Interestingly, stabilizer have significant impact morphology parameter particles. Under conditions 50 mL·min −1 , amount 2%, 0.8% weight nitrate, kind with 4.40–4.70 μm can be prepared. volume resistivity paste from obtained range 1.4–1.6 × 10 −4 Ω·cm which meets application test requirements conductive paste.
